The Global Settings section is used to manage the global-level settings of a webstore-- including Currencies, Countries, Locales, and other general settings.

Administrators can configure the Global Settings of the Multifront Admin by toggling each Currency, Country, or Locale as "Active/Inactive". Only options which have been made Active will appear in your webstore.

Administrators can configure the Global Settings of the Multifront Admin by toggling each Currency, Country, or Locale as "Active/Inactive". Note: Only "Active" elements will appear in your webstore.

General Settings

Detail Description
Storage Unit Media files in Store are displayed with the units KB or MB.
Date Format Date format in Store is displayed referencing this detail.
Time Format Time format in Store is displayed referencing this detail.

This is available from v9.0.6.

Price Round Off Select preference on how many decimals places your store should recognize before rounding up/down.

(Example: Selecting "3" would allow three numbers after the decimal--such as $12.123)

Inventory Round Off Select preference on how many decimals places your store should recognize with Inventory before rounding up/down. Used to determine the Product Quantity on-hand and Reorder level but also UOM.
Current Environment Select the current system environment and the same is displayed on the header of Admin and Webstore except for the Production environment.

This is available from v9.0.5.1.

Locales

Out-of-the-box, all potential Locales are displayed on the Locales tab of the Global Settings section.

A Locale element must be set as "Is Active" in order to be viewable as a valid option when changing the language used in a webstore. Only "Is Active" Locales can be set as "Is Default" in your webstore.

A Default Locales can be set using the Tools feature "Set as Default".

Currencies

All potential currencies (along with the currency cultures) are displayed on the Currencies tab of the Global Settings section.

A Currency element must be set as "Is Active" in order to be viewable as a valid option when changing the currency used in a webstore. Only "Is Active" Currencies can be set as "Is Default" in your webstore.

Default Currencies can be set using the Tools feature "Set as Default".

Countries

All potential Countries are displayed on the Countries tab of the Global Settings section.

A Country element must be set as "Is Active" in order to be viewable as a valid option when creating Orders in a Webstore. Only "Is Active" Countries can be set as "Is Default" in your Webstore.

Default Countries can be set using the Tools feature "Set As Default"

Cache Management

Note: This functionality is available from v9.0.4.

Admin has a provision to turn the caching on or off and manually clear the cache if required. Last refresh date shows the date when the cache was cleared either from Admin or backend.

URL Management

Note: This is available under Stores & Reps > Stores > URLs tab till v9.0.4.3.

The Admin and API domain for the store can be managed from here. To associate a new URL follow the given steps:

  1. Click Add New.
  2. Specify a unique domain name.
  3. Select the application as an Admin or API.
  4. Select the checkbox to enable the URL.

Publish Settings

Note: This functionality is available from v9.0.6.

The Administrator can enable or disable a publish state and view the publish history for each.

  1. Click View Publish History Eye.png icon against a particular Publish state to view the details of all the publish related activity in chronological order. In addition, Admin can purge of any of the history logs to reduce storage space.
  2. Click Disable to disable a particular Publish state. Do note that default publishes state cannot be disabled.
  3. If there is only one enabled state, the system will automatically publish the data to that state.
