Widgets can be configured with the desired content after the Page Template has been saved.

The Pages section of Multifront is where Administrators can create and manage Content Pages. Admin users can manage all the Content Pages from this single, centralized location.

Before Getting Started The capabilities of a Content Page are largely determined by the Widgets associated with the Page Template chosen when creating a Content Page. It is important that the Page Template admin users use has the appropriate Widgets necessary to create the Content desired for the Page.

Page Details

Detail Description
Store Select the store for which admin wants to create the page.
Profile Selected store profile will be displayed on the drop down. The page will be displayed only for the selected profile.
Template Select the newly created template. i.e.Cs HTML file.
Page Name Enter the page name for this template.
Is Active If it is Enabled then it will be displayed to the selected store Or Profile.
Locale Default locale will be displayed. Admin can create the page with multiple locales.
Page Title This will be the title that will be displayed on top of the page.
SEO Title SEO Title corresponds to the Page Title how will it appear in a search engine.
SEO Keywords SEO keywords are the keywords and phrases in web content that make it possible to find the website via search engine.
SEO Description SEO description that summarizes the page content. Search engine shows the meta description in the search result.
Additional Meta Information Meta elements are tags used in HTML and XHTML documents to provide structured metadata about a Web page.
SEO Friendly URL If it is enabled then this content page will redirect to the specified page.
Is Redirect If it is enabled then this content page will redirect to the specified page.
Activation Date Created page will be displayed from the date of selection of activation date.
Expiration Date Page will be expired if an expiration date is selected.

Content Page List

The Content Page List is a searchable hierarchy of folders to help Administrators organize Content Pages they create.

  • Create, rename, or delete sub-folders by right-clicking on the folder.
  • Sub-folders can be created by dragging folders on top of another.
  • All folders reorganized via dragging and dropping except "Root".

Add Content Page

CMS > Pages > "Add New" button

  1. Select a "Page Template" and complete other content page details.
  2. Save progress using the "Save" button. The page will reload with action confirmation. Two tabs, "Page Info" and "Content" will appear to the left of the Content Page Details.
  3. After saving, navigate to the "Content" tab.
  4. Configurable Widgets should be configured, based on the requirements for the Content Page.
  5. Save progress using the "Save" button. The page will reload with action confirmation.
  6. Content Page is now added.


Edit Content Page

When webstore preview is disabled or preview URL is not associataed with the store To edit a content page the below steps can be followed

  1. Click on Edit action on CMS > Pages
  2. Navigate to the Content tab
  3. Update Content Page details by configuring the widgets (Admin users can click on the Configure button on the widget to configure the respective widget)
  4. Save progress using the "Save" button. Page will reload with action confirmation.
  5. Page is now edited.

When webstore preview is enabled and preview URL is associataed with the store When webstore preview is enabled and preview URL is associataed with the store, admin users can view the inline preview of the widgets and the page from the Content and Preview tabs respectively.

Preview tab will only be displayed in this scenario.

To edit a content page the below steps can be followed

  1. Click on Edit action on CMS > Pages
  2. Navigate to the Content tab
  3. Update Content Page details by configuring the widgets (Admin users can click on the Configure button on the widget to configure the respective widget)
  4. Save progress using the "Save" button. Page will reload with action confirmation.
  5. Page is now edited.

Delete Content Page

CMS > Pages > "Delete" action
  1. Use the "Delete" action on the Content Page to be deleted.
  2. Multifront will ask to confirm action. Press "OK" to proceed with deletion. Page will reload with action confirmation.
  3. Page is now deleted.
